Applications are invited for the posts of  Professional Assistant (Central

Library)  in JNU, Delhi

Essential Qualifications:

   1. M.Lib. Sc./MLIS or equivalent with 50% marks. OR Master's Degree in
   Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib.
   Sc./BLIS with 50% marks.


   1. Post Graduate Diploma/Certificate Course in Computer
   Application/Science/Library Automation from a recognized institute with
   minimum of 6 months duration.

Desirable Qualifications:

   1. Atleast three years' working experience in a reputed library.
   2. Knowledge of Library Automation activities.
   3. Knowledge of any foreign language.
   4. Post Graduate Diploma/Certificate Course in Computer
   Application/Science/Library Automation from a recognized institute with
   minimum of 6 months duration.

*Pay band : Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200 *
