project No.DST/NSTMIS/05/152/2013-14
entitled “Measuring
Scientific Value of Indian Journals: A Pilot Study on Physics-Chemistry-Biology
Journals” under Principal Investigator Dr. Bhaskar
Mukherjee. The details of position and minimum qualifications are as follows:
§ Essential Qualifications: Master
of Library & Information Science securing
minimum 60% marks or equivalent
CGPA. NET/GATE qualified
candidates will be
given
preference.
§ Duration of the project: One and half years
§ Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- per month
§ Desirable: Candidates with experience in computation/data analysis will be preferred.

General Terms and Conditions:
1. The candidates will be short listed for the interview
based on merit and will be informed
via e-mail/post. Mere fulfilling
the minimum qualifications will not entitle the candidate
for being called for
interview. The decision
of the selection committee will be final in this regards.
2. Candidates shortlisted for interview should appear
in person with originals of degree
certificates (one
set
of Xerox) and date of birth proof along with any other
relevant information (e.g. experience
certificate, copies of
publications if any, awards, recommendations letters etc.).
3. The above position is purely temporary for
the said project period only. The JRF could be terminated depending upon
his/her performance without giving any prior notice.
4. The selected individual may
be assigned to perform any other duties time to time
commensurate
with his/her qualifications.
5. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
