Essential Qualifications & Experience: 

1. M.Lib. Sc./ MLIS or equivalent with 50% marks. Or Master’s degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or any other discipline with 50% marks.
2. Computer science paper at Graduate/ PG level or 6 months computer course from a recognized institution.
3. At least 1-2 years of working experience in a reputed library.
4. Working knowledge of Library Automation/ Digital Library and application of Open source software in Library science

• Maximum Age: 30 years 
• Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment / Deputation Deputation: Persons holding analogous post or equivalent post on regular basis or person possessing essential qualification and experience prescribed and 5 years working experience in a Central Library/ University Library etc.

• Age of Superannuation: 60 years.
