School of Planning and Architecture, inviting application for the post of Assistant Professor/ Assistant Librarian  

Assistant Librarian: 

Masters Degree in Library Science/ Information science / Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade where grading system is followed and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerisation of library. Qualify in the National level test for the purpose conducted by UGC or any other Agency approved by UGC. Candidates who are, or have been awarded with Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment. Desirable : At least 5 years experience in Library /Computerisation of Library in a reputed educational Institution of which 3 years shall be as Senior Library Assistant or equivalent post.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600- 39100
