INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH MOHALI

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, established by the Government of India (MHRD) in 2007 to carry out research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality science education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, intends to fill up the following vacancy:-

Library Information Assistant : 01 position (OBC) PB-2, 9300-34800 + 4200 (G.P.)

Application form downloadable from the website should be filled and submitted along with a recent
passport size photograph and names of at least three referees to the Registrar, Indian Institute of
Science Education and Research Mohali, Sector 81, Knowledge City, P.O. Manauli, S.A.S. Nagar,
Mohali-140306, Punjab by 31.01.2012 at 5.00 p.m. (IST) positively along with a Bank Draft of Rs.
100/- in favour of the Registrar, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali as
application fee in case of General/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PD candidates are however, exempted
from payment of application fee. Reservation for PD candidates as per Government of India Rules
will apply. Envelope containing the application should be superscribed with the name of the post
applied for.

Qualification :
Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, and a Bachelor's degree in Library Science
obtained after graduation. Experience of 2 years in a Library and Knowledge of Computer
applications related to Library management.
