Librarian

1. I or high II class Basic Degree + Master of Library & Information Science (M.Lib. Sc.) from a recognized University.
2. 2-3 years experience after obtaining M.Lib. Sc. In a College or University Library.
3. Basic skills in using computer and software packages for library automation and networking.

Assistant Librarian

1. Bachelor's Degree + Degree in Library & information Science from a recognized University.
2. Knowledge of using computer and library software for automation and networking.

Desirable:

1. 2-3 years working experience in an academic library.
2. Experience or classification of books and other related technical work.

Librarian  Assistant

1. 2 years Diploma course offered by the Board of Technical Education in Karnataka.
2. Basic knowledge of using computers in library working system or a certificate in computer course recognized by AICTE.
