Following personnel on contractual services are required in following National Agriculture Innovation Project. Candidates interested may appear for walk in interview on following indicated dates at 10.30 am at the office of University Librarian, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore - 65 along with original certificates and prepared bio-data (6 copies) in below said format.
Project: Strengthening of Digital Library and Information Management under NARS (e-Granth)
Date of Interview: 10.8.2009.
Designation Qualifications: Research Associates (2 Posts.) Ph.D / M.Sc in Computer Science/ Master of Computer Application (MCA) from recognized University with at least two years work experience in the relevant area in a reputed company or institute.
Desirable Qualifications: (a) Familiarity with Digitization and Computerization of Libraries especially with Library Management Software (s) and digital software lie DSPace / Greenstone etc., Relevant Open standards and protocols. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (2 Posts.) Master's Degree in library Science / information science/documentation from recognized University as a full-time regular student.
Desirable Qualifications: (a) Evidence of innovative library services, published work and professional commitment, computerization of library. (b) Two years working experience in University Library Systems, specially in Library Automation, Digital LIBRARY, Networking.
