Selection Centre South, which selects officers for Army & Navy is looking for a Project trainee to help them automate their library usingLibSYS.

It is an ideal opportunity for Library/Information science freshers whoare willing to gain exposure. Candidates with knowledge of LibSYS are preferred.

Details about the project:Organization: Selection Centre South, Cubbon Road, Opposite ManipalCentre, Bangalore (It is for SSBs for selection of officers for Army andNavy)

Project background: They have around 3000 books and a few journalshoused in 20-odd shelves. Right now all library operations happenthrough manual ledgers which are not up-to-date. They have procured LibSYS Library Mgmt S/W that needs to be implemented. Alsocategorization of books and other library assets, plus framing of somebasic issue/return policies for the library.
