AACR II and DDC.
Apptitude : Enthusisam to learn latest ICT skills.
Salary : Rs.7000/- PM ( Consolidated )
Training Modules: Excellent training will be provided in practical librarianship with emphasis on: i. Libsys
ii. Web desiging (HTML, Java Scripts, java applets )
iii. MySQL and PHP ( with a project ) iv. Dspace ( Institutional Repository )
v. Harvester ( PKP )
vi. Redhat Linux ( Fedora 3 )The candidates will also get the opportunity to work in all the sections of the library in a very good academic and ICT environment.Those who have appeared for M.Li.Sc examination can also apply, but have to produce the proof of completion at the time of interview/written test, which is likelly to be held during the 2nd week of May, 2007.
